Jokelé Beauty was founded in 2019 by myself Matika “Miss Tika” Goldsmith. With the struggle of finding an all natural hair treatment for my 10 yr old daughter, after she faced extreme hair loss due to a severe Eczema flare up. As a licensed Cosmetologist I thought I could find the right products to get my daughter’s hair growth started but my efforts were to no avail. Having a middle school aged child unable to wear a ponytail or braids was devastating and I could not stand to see my baby cry another tear. I turned to lace front wigs styled age appropriately. Overwhelmed by disappointment I turned to God to lead and guide me while I embarked on the birth of Jokelè Beauty’s first 2 products. Stimulating hair growth oil and Hair Butter would prove to be heaven sent! Within 3 months my daughter was able to get her hair braided again. I knew that i had created something that should be shared with the world. Since then we have developed a lip gloss collection and Body & Skin care products.
